25% More Length Than the M122 — No Indexing at 15 Inches
The M152 extends M-Series™ focused-beam coverage to 15 inches — the only model in the line that covers a 15-inch bond line without indexing. The M122 stops at 12 inches; any bond interface longer than that requires either step-curing with an M122 across multiple positions, or scaling to a flood lamp that covers a broad area but loses the M-Series™’s beam concentration. The M152 is the answer specifically when the seam is long, narrow, and 12 inches isn’t enough.

Full Intensity at the Longest Focused-Beam Scale
270 LEDs maintain 3,100 mW/cm² at 365 nm across the entire 15″×2″ footprint — the identical irradiance delivered by the shorter M62 and M122 configurations. Scaling up to 15 inches doesn’t dilute intensity: the M152 simply uses proportionally more LEDs to hold the M-Series™ output level at the same working distance. Every point along the 15-inch seam receives the same UV dose, producing a consistent cure from one end of the bond line to the other without the intensity drop that shows up at the edges of a flood source trying to cover the same length.
3,100 mW/cm² Across a 15″×2″ Area
The 270-LED array delivers 3,100 mW/cm² at 365 nm and 2,600 mW/cm² at 385/395/405 nm, both at 2.0-inch working distance; recommended curing distance is 1–3 inches. Wavelength is factory-configured at order. As with the rest of the M-Series™ array, peak intensity at 365 nm runs ahead of the longer wavelengths — a characteristic of LED die efficiency at that wavelength for these focused-beam configurations.
Control and Power
Control interface options span LCD front panel, foot-switch input, PLC digital I/O, and RS232, with timer and continuous operating modes switchable at the panel. Power input is auto-ranging 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz, cooling is advanced forced-air, and LED lifespan is rated at greater than 20,000 hours with no chamber compatibility.

The M121’s fixturing consideration — keeping the entire beam-covered zone within the recommended 1-3 inch working distance — becomes more demanding as beam length grows, and the M152’s 15-inch run is the most demanding case in the M-Series™ range. A part with even minor bow or dimensional variation over 15 inches is more likely to drift outside the optimal working-distance band at one end than a shorter part would be under the M51 or M62. Confirming flatness or straightness tolerance along the full 15-inch run during fixture design — not just at a single reference point — is worth the extra scrutiny given how much length the M152 is covering in a single exposure.
Weighing the M152 Against a Multi-Pass M122 Approach
For a seam between 12 and 15 inches specifically, the choice isn’t only about the M152’s single-pass convenience — it’s also about eliminating the step-cure variation that indexing an M122 across that same seam would introduce. A single M152 exposure removes any risk of an under-cured transition zone at the index point, which matters most on adhesives with a narrow process window where even a brief indexing delay could leave a joint segment outside its cure-time specification. For seams safely under 12 inches, the M122’s shorter beam and correspondingly smaller equipment footprint remains the simpler choice.
