The LGT-60-8 mounts onto the tip of any \u00d88mm UV spot curing lightguide and redirects output at the same 60\u00b0 oblique angle as its narrower sibling, but with a proportionally wider aperture. Mounting a \u00d85mm terminator on a \u00d88mm lightguide port means running through a step-down adapter \u2014 and every adapter interface is a place where UV energy is lost before it reaches the redirecting element. The LGT-60-8’s aperture is sized to match the \u00d88mm core exactly, with no step-down and no intermediate adapter. Choosing the Right Aperture and Angle<\/h3>\n

Verify the lightguide’s exit port diameter before ordering \u2014 an aperture mismatch between the terminator and the lightguide causes UV energy loss right at the connection interface, undermining whatever the terminator is meant to solve. For precision work on a \u00d85mm system at the same 60\u00b0 oblique angle, the LGT-60-5 is the correct match rather than adapting the LGT-60-8 down. For perpendicular access at the same \u00d88mm aperture, the LGT-90-8 handles bond faces sitting at a true right angle where fixture clearance permits a full 90\u00b0 approach.<\/p>\n

The decision tree is consistent across the whole LGT-Series: match aperture to the lightguide already in use, then choose exit angle based on what the fixture geometry and bond face orientation actually allow.
