Each fixture is occupied the whole time, so scaling output means buying more fixtures and more floor space. A UV-curable adhesive breaks that constraint: parts are positioned with unlimited open time, then cured in seconds when the light comes on. Full cure through the section is the target, reached as quickly as the chemistry and lamp allow, not faster.<\/p>\n<h3>Fixture Throughput Math<\/h3>\n<p>The gain from fast cure is easiest to see as a fixture count. If a two-part adhesive holds parts for 30 minutes and a line has to produce 60 bonded parts an hour, it needs 30 fixtures in rotation. A UV grade that fixtures in 10 seconds needs one or two. That difference is floor space, fixture tooling cost, and the labor to load and unload dozens of jigs. It also shortens the feedback loop when something goes wrong: a bad batch is caught in minutes, not after 30 fixtures are already filled.<\/p>\n<h3>Thermal and Weathering Considerations<\/h3>\n<p>Fast cure does not change the physics of the finished joint.
