The Two Main Chemistries Two-part polyurethane and epoxy doming resins are measured, mixed, and left to cure at room temperature over several hours. Their strength is thick-section pours: they cure fully even at 3 to 5 mm depth without a light source. Their weaknesses are speed, a fixed pot life that caps batch size, sensitivity to mix ratio errors, and, for many epoxy systems, a tendency to yellow under UV over time.
