UV Arc Flood Conveyor Curing System — Incure CDM™ / CDM™ Compact + F500x2A
Incure CDM™ / CDM™ Compact F500x2A doubles the curing energy of the F500x2AC at the same belt speed — 2,960 mJ/cm² UVA at 6 ft/min versus 1,480 mJ/cm² for the single-assembly configuration, from the highest per-head intensity in the F-series (590 mW/cm² at 365 nm per lamp head). It's a UVA-only UV arc flood conveyor curing system pairing the CDM™ or CDM™ Compact 9″ belt conveyor with two F500 UVA lamp heads in series — no UVC lamp head — across a maximum 5-inch part width, available on both the CDM™ (9″ polypropylene belt) and CDM™ Compact (9″ stainless-steel wire belt), both with a 3.0″–6.5″ curing height range. If your adhesive process is qualified under broadband UVA + UVC arc lamp exposure, specify the F500x2AC instead. Note: despite the F500's high per-head intensity, the F500x2A delivers lower total energy per pass than the F400x2A (2,960 vs 5,260 mJ/cm² at 6 ft/min) due to the F500's shorter aperture in the belt-travel direction — specify the F400x2A when maximum curing dose is the primary requirement.
Doubles the UV Dose of the F500x2AC at the Same Belt Speed
The F500x2AC (single-assembly, 1 UVA + 1 UVC) delivers 1,480 mJ/cm² UVA at 6 ft/min from one lamp assembly. The F500x2A places two F500 UVA lamp heads in series on the same conveyor platform — parts pass under both heads in a single belt run, accumulating dose from each head consecutively. The result is 2,960 mJ/cm² UVA at 6 ft/min — exactly double the F500x2AC dose at the same belt speed. For processes already curing with the F500x2AC but requiring more UV dose to reach the cure threshold without reducing belt speed, the F500x2A is the direct step up — same platform, same 5-inch part width, same belt configuration.
UVA-Only Output — No UVC Ventilation or UVC-Specific Compliance Requirements
The F500x2A uses two F500 UVA lamp heads in series — there is no UVC lamp head. UVA-only output means the conveyor does not require UVC ventilation, UVC shielding enclosures, or UVC-specific PPE protocols beyond standard UV safety practices. For facilities where UVC exposure management adds process complexity or compliance overhead, the F500x2A delivers double the F500x2AC dose without that requirement. If your adhesive cure schedule was qualified against a broadband UVA + UVC arc lamp, specify the F500x2AC — broadband qualification data cannot be directly applied to UVA-only process validation without re-testing.
Highest Per-Head Intensity in Any Dual-Lamp UVA Configuration on the CDM™ Fleet — 590 mW/cm² Per Lamp Head
Among all dual-lamp UVA (x2A) configurations on the CDM™ fleet, the F500x2A delivers the highest per-lamp-head intensity: 590 mW/cm² at 365 nm per head, versus 490 mW/cm² per head for the F400x2A and 350 mW/cm² per head for the F200x2A. For processes where high peak irradiance — not just high total dose — is required (e.g., photoinitiator systems with minimum irradiance thresholds, or adhesives that require above-threshold intensity to initiate the radical chain without extended exposure time), the F500x2A delivers the highest per-head intensity available in a dual-UVA configuration. Note: the F400x2A delivers higher total energy per pass at a given belt speed (5,260 vs 2,960 mJ/cm² at 6 ft/min) — if total dose is the primary requirement, specify the F400x2A.

F500x2A consists of two F500 UVA lamp heads installed in series on the conveyor — parts pass under both heads in a single belt run. No UVC lamp head is included. UVA and UVV curing energy values are estimated based on measured per-lamp-head irradiance at 2.0 and 2.5 inches (590 mW/cm² UVA per head) and belt speed; actual dose may vary depending on working distance, reflector age, bulb hours, part reflectivity, and measurement method. Despite the F500's high per-head intensity, the F500x2A delivers lower total energy per pass than the F400x2A at any given belt speed due to the F500's shorter aperture in the belt-travel direction — specify the F400x2A when maximum total UV dose per pass is the primary process requirement. Dynamic and static uniformity values are typical conveyor measurements with ±5% variation. Lamp head replacement should be planned at the 1,000-hour threshold per head. No external PLC/RS-232 control port — F-series configurations are controlled by belt speed adjustment only. Mounting stand not available for F500 configurations. Maximum part width 5 inches (both CDM™ and CDM™ Compact platforms). Curing height 3.0″–6.5″ on both platforms.
