Aerospace & Plasma Systems
Seal rocket nozzle insulation, plasma reactor joints, and turbine casings where conventional repair methods are impractical or unavailable.
  • Epo-Weld™ HTCP ceramic putties are used for repairing and sealing high-temperature industrial components — including exhaust systems, boiler doors, furnace casings, molten metal troughs, and cast iron or aluminum castings. They fill cracks, voids, and blowholes to restore structural integrity without welding.

  • Service temperature depends on the grade. HTCP-550 and HTCP-950 are rated to 2,000°F (1,090°C). HTCP-650 — the ceramic fiber gasket seal — is rated to 2,350°F (1,300°C). HTCP-750 is rated to 1,400°F (760°C) and is designed for aluminum and steel casting repair.

  • Yes — Epo-Weld™ HTCP-750 cures to a machinable compound, allowing repaired castings to be drilled, tapped, or machined back to original tolerances. Other grades cure to a hard, rigid ceramic mass suitable for sealing and structural repair but are not intended for post-cure machining.

  • Single-part grades (HTCP-550, HTCP-650, HTCP-950) are ready to use straight from the container — no mixing required. They air-cure at room temperature and are ideal for field repairs and maintenance. Two-part HTCP-750 requires mixing but offers a machinable repair compound suited for precision casting restoration where dimensional accuracy is needed.

  • Yes. Epo-Weld™ HTCP-950 is formulated as a thixotropic, non-sagging paste specifically for vertical surfaces and overhead components. It stays in place during cure without slumping, enabling in-situ repairs up to 3/8 inch (10 mm) thick on incinerators, boilers, and exhaust ducting.

  • Epo-Weld™ HTCP grades adhere to cast iron, steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. HTCP-550 and HTCP-950 are optimised for cast iron and stainless steel repair. HTCP-750 is specifically designed for aluminum and steel casting restoration. HTCP-650 seals metal surfaces in boiler and furnace applications where conformable gasket sealing is required.
