Both alloys are non-magnetic — phosphor bronze (SN-18 through SN-30) and nickel silver (SN-6 through SN-2) — eliminating magnetic contamination risk in electronics assembly and MRI-compatible medical device manufacturing.   • For low-viscosity UV adhesives (under 1,000 cP), SN-18 (1.039mm ID) or SN-19 (0.859mm ID) delivers high flow at minimal pump pressure. Medium-viscosity UV adhesives (1,000–10,000 cP) suit SN-20 (0.681mm) or SN-21 (0.610mm). For thicker UV gels and filled formulations, choose SN-23, SN-25, or SN-27. Match the bore to your adhesive viscosity — too narrow increases back-pressure and risks skipping; too wide reduces placement accuracy.

  • Phosphor bronze is non-magnetic — making Incure Sniper™ needles safe for use near sensitive electronic components and in MRI-compatible medical device assembly where magnetic contamination risk must be eliminated. Phosphor bronze also has excellent corrosion resistance against many UV adhesive solvents and epoxy hardeners, and its inherent elasticity maintains consistent tip geometry throughout the needle service life.

  • No Coating is the standard option and suits most UV adhesives, epoxies, and aqueous fluids. Electroless Nickel provides enhanced corrosion resistance and a harder inner surface for longer service life with abrasive or aggressive fluids. Nickel PTFE adds a low-friction PTFE-impregnated surface that significantly reduces fluid adhesion to the bore wall — the recommended choice for high-tack adhesives where stringing is a production quality concern. Nickel Polymer Type SLK is the highest-performance stringing-reduction coating, particularly effective at finer bore sizes (SN-23 and smaller) for clean break-off with filled epoxy pastes. Parylene Type C provides conformal pin-hole-free encapsulation of the bore surface with near-zero friction — contact us for availability at your required gauge.

  • Incure Sniper™ needles use a standard Luer lock fitting compatible with all Luer lock syringe barrels, dispensing valves, and pneumatic dispensers. They work with timed-jet valves and manual syringe dispensers from all major suppliers. For two-part epoxy dispensed through a static mixer, the mixer outlet connects via Luer lock directly to the Sniper™ needle.   • For UV adhesives, the Nickel PTFE coating option is the most effective remedy — the low-friction PTFE surface promotes clean fluid break-off at the tip. Additionally: select the smallest bore that still delivers at your required flow rate (a narrower ID sharpens the break-off point), reduce dispense pressure, and increase retract speed. The Sniper™ tapered-tip geometry further accelerates break-off compared to flat-cut needles.
