  • Epo-Weld™ HTE is used for thermal management (bonding heat sinks and power components), optical bonding (sapphire windows, glass lenses, sensor windows), potting and encapsulation (transformers, connectors, motor stators), structural bonding under high thermal load, and industrial repair. Multiple grades cover thermally conductive, optically clear, flexible, stainless steel-filled, and impact-toughened requirements.

  • Yes. All Epo-Weld™ HTE grades meet NASA outgassing requirements (ASTM E595), making them suitable for aerospace, satellite, and vacuum applications where volatile material emission must be minimised.

  • Most HTE grades offer room-temperature cure (24–48 hours at 77°F) with accelerated heat-cure options (1–4 hours at 200–400°F). Some high-performance grades require elevated temperature post-cure to achieve maximum bond strength and temperature resistance.

  • Yes. Epo-Weld™ HTE-5351 is a clear two-part epoxy for optically transparent bonding of sapphire windows, glass lenses, sensor windows, and precision instrument assemblies. It provides a clear bond line with no distortion and resists moisture and saline solutions.

  • Yes. Low-viscosity HTE grades such as HTE-5364 (2,240–3,360 cPs) are designed for potting transformers, connectors, coils, and electronic modules at room temperature without oven cure — providing complete impregnation and reliable electrical insulation.

  • Tensile shear strength ranges from 500 PSI (flexible grade) to 4,900 PSI depending on the grade and cure schedule. Structural grades with elevated temperature post-cure achieve the highest values. Select the grade based on whether the primary requirement is flexibility, conductivity, optical clarity, or structural strength.
