High Temperature Silicone Sealers — Epo-Weld™

Clear, one-part silicone sealers engineered for moisture, electrical, and thermal protection of metals, ceramics, and glass in high-heat industrial environments. Available in self-leveling, non-slumping, and paste consistencies for horizontal, vertical, and gap-fill applications up to 800°F.

Industrial exhaust manifolds and furnace door sealing with Epo-Weld™ HTSS high temperature silicone sealer
Exhaust Manifolds & Furnace Doors
Seal joints, flanges, and gasket faces on exhaust manifolds and furnace doors. Flexible silicone film withstands thermal cycling without cracking or losing adhesion.
Heater element ends and housing sealed with Epo-Weld™ HTSS for moisture and dielectric
Heater Ends & Instrument Housings
Protect heater lead terminations and instrument housings from moisture and humidity. Dielectric properties prevent electrical leakage and arcing at high service temperatures.
Industrial pipe flanges and ductwork sealed with Epo-Weld™ HTSS high temperature silicone sealer
Flange Joints & Ductwork
Form reliable seals on flange faces, threaded connections, and duct seams in high-temperature gas and exhaust systems. HTSS-261 stays in place on vertical pipe surfaces.
Boiler sight glass and kiln joint sealed with Epo-Weld™ HTSS silicone sealer
Boiler Sight Glasses & Kiln Joints
Seal glass-to-metal interfaces on boiler sight glasses and kiln observation ports. HTSS-260 forms a clear, hydrophobic film that bonds to glass and metal without discoloration.
Ceramic insulators sealed with Epo-Weld™ HTSS for dielectric protection
Ceramic Insulators & Heater Leads
Seal porous ceramics and refractory insulators to prevent moisture ingress and electrical tracking. HTSS-261 penetrates porous surfaces to form a durable internal moisture barrier.
Refractory casting repair in molten steel processing environment using Epo-Weld™ HTSS high temperature silicone sealer
Casting Repairs & Refractory
Fill large voids, cracks, and missing gasket sections in ceramic and refractory assemblies. HTSS-263 paste consistency provides a non-sagging fill in gaps up to several millimetres deep.
  • Incure Epo-Weld™ HTSS high temperature silicone sealers are used to protect metals, ceramics, refractories, and glass from moisture, humidity, and chemical attack at temperatures up to 800°F. They provide dielectric insulation on heater ends, ceramic insulators, and instrument housings, and seal joints in furnace doors, exhaust manifolds, flange faces, and boiler casings.

  • Choose Epo-Weld™ HTSS-260 (200–300 cP) for horizontal surfaces and thin coatings where a low-viscosity sealer can flow and self-level. Choose HTSS-261 (2,000–4,000 cP) for vertical surfaces and porous ceramics where a thicker film is needed to prevent run-off. Choose HTSS-263 (18,000–25,000 cP paste) for gap filling, large void sealing, or applications where a non-sagging consistency is required.

  • All three Epo-Weld™ HTSS grades are rated to 800°F (427°C) continuous service temperature. They maintain flexible, dielectric properties across this range without cracking, carbonizing, or losing adhesion to metal, ceramic, or glass substrates.

  • Yes. All Epo-Weld™ HTSS grades cure to a dielectric silicone film with high electrical resistance. They are specifically recommended for sealing ceramic insulators, heater lead terminations, and instrument housings where preventing arcing and electrical leakage under high-temperature, high-humidity conditions is critical.

  • Yes. Epo-Weld™ HTSS sealers adhere to ceramics, porous refractories, glass, metals, and stainless steel. HTSS-261 is specifically engineered for sealing porous ceramics and refractories where standard low-viscosity sealers would absorb into the substrate rather than forming a surface film.

  • Apply Epo-Weld™ HTSS by brushing, spraying, or spatula onto a clean, dry surface. All three grades cure at room temperature in 24 hours via moisture absorption — no heat activation is required. For accelerated cure, mild heat may be applied. Final high-temperature properties are achieved during first thermal excursion in service.
