UV LED Focused Beam Conveyor Curing System — Incure CDM™ + M51

Incure CDM™ M51 is the highest-intensity configuration on the CDM™ platform — a UV LED focused beam conveyor curing system that concentrates UV into a narrow 5″×1″ strip beam instead of flooding the full belt width like the L64/L88 configurations, leaving adjacent components outside the 1-inch beam unexposed during inline cure. Delivered as a complete system — CDM™ conveyor plus M-Series™ M51 focused beam lamp head — it provides 6,150 mW/cm² at 365 nm, belt-speed dose control from 12,813 to 102,500 mJ/cm² UVA, PLC / RS-232 / foot-switch integration, and >20,000-hour LED service life.

Highest Intensity on the CDM™ Platform — 6,150 mW/cm² at 365 nm

The CDM™ + M51 delivers 6,150 mW/cm² at 365 nm — 3.2× the peak intensity of the flood configurations (L64, L88 at 1,900 mW/cm²). Where flood lamps spread their output over a wide area, the M51 concentrates 45 LEDs into a 5″×1″ strip, enabling fast cure of slow-reacting formulations and high-viscosity bond lines that require high irradiance to initiate the cure reaction at line speed.

5″×1″ Strip Beam Cures the Bond Line — Not Adjacent Components

Flood configurations on the CDM™ cure everything in their footprint — the bond line and the surrounding assembly. The M51 strip beam exposes only a 1-inch-wide path along the belt travel direction. Components outside that strip receive no UV, protecting heat-sensitive substrates, optical elements, and pre-assembled parts from unintended irradiation in the same conveyor pass.

25,630 mJ/cm² UVA at 6 ft/min — Fast Cure at Production Speed

At 6 ft/min belt speed, the M51 delivers 25,630 mJ/cm² UVA to the bond line — the highest energy-per-pass of any CDM™ LED configuration at the same belt speed. Belt speed is continuously adjustable from 1.5 to 12 ft/min, scaling dose from 102,500 mJ/cm² UVA at the slowest setting down to 12,813 mJ/cm² UVA at the fastest for throughput-optimised processes.

LED curing energy values are estimated based on measured irradiance profile, illuminated length in the belt-travel direction (5 inches), and belt speed. Actual dose may vary depending on working distance, beam profile, part height, reflectivity, and measurement method. The 1-inch maximum part width specification refers to the width of the cured zone — parts wider than 1 inch will receive UV only within the 1-inch beam footprint; areas outside the beam width are not cured in a single pass. UVV values are estimated at 385/395/405 nm wavelength configurations. Per-configuration wattage, machine dimensions, and weight available on request. Wavelength is factory-configured at time of order — contact Incure for wavelength selection guidance based on adhesive photoinitiator absorption peak.
