W44 — Water-Cooled UV LED Area Curing System, 4″ × 4″
Incure W44 is the highest-intensity configuration in the W-Series™ — 8,100 mW/cm² at 365 nm from a 4″ × 4″ array of 144 LEDs. Closed-loop water cooling draws heat away from the LED assembly continuously, eliminating the thermal throttling that limits air-cooled high-intensity arrays in sustained production operation. Where the air-cooled L44 delivers 2,600 mW/cm² at 365 nm at rated output, the W44 drives the same footprint at more than three times that irradiance — and holds it throughout the shift.
Highest Peak Intensity in the W-Series™ — 8,100 mW/cm² at 365 nm
At 8,100 mW/cm² at 365 nm, the W44 delivers more than 2.6× the irradiance of the W1212 (3,100 mW/cm²) at the same 2″ working distance. For cure-rate-critical adhesives and coatings — high-viscosity UV encapsulants, thick-section optical bonds, photoinitiated coatings with slow-responding initiators — the W44 compresses the cure window that the W1212's broader but lower-intensity output cannot match in the same cycle time.
Sustained Full Intensity — No Thermal Throttling in Continuous Duty
Air-cooled LED arrays accumulate heat at the junction during extended operation, causing irradiance to drop below the rated value as the shift progresses. The W44's closed-loop water cooling maintains junction temperature at a stable set point regardless of duty cycle — intensity at hour eight matches intensity at hour one. Cure times remain constant across the production run, and the process window validated at commissioning stays valid throughout service life.

Irradiance values measured at 100% output intensity at the specified working distance. Peak intensity at 365 nm exceeds 385/395/405 nm output for the W44 array — this is a characteristic of the LED die efficiency at 365 nm for high-power water-cooled configurations. Recommended curing distance 1″–3″; static intensity uniformity at 2.0″: 0.78; dynamic uniformity at 2.0″: 0.88. Wavelength is factory-configured at order; specify 365 nm, 385 nm, 395 nm, or 405 nm when ordering. LED lifespan rated at greater than 20,000 operating hours under standard conditions; no recalibration or bulb replacement required during normal service life.
