L9000-LG Long Guide — 118 mm UV Lightguide
Incure L9000-LG Long Guide addresses the application the Short Guide cannot reach — automated production fixtures where the bond face is recessed deep inside the fixture envelope and the controller must sit outside it. At 118 mm, the Long Guide places the cure point 79% further from the controller body than the Short Guide. The controller mounts on the fixture frame or gantry; the guide tip enters the fixture and reaches the adhesive. Delivers the same 7,500 mW/cm² output at 9 mm and the same wavelength options as the Short Guide and Cool Guide when paired with the L9000™ controller — only the reach changes.
Reaches Cure Points the Short Guide Cannot Access
At 118 mm total length, the Long Guide enters fixture cavities, recessed board mounting positions, and multi-stage assembly frames where 66 mm of guide length runs out before the tip reaches the bond face. The extended fibre optic maintains full UV transmission across the additional length — there is no intensity penalty for the longer reach beyond what focal point physics dictates at any given tip-to-surface distance.
Keeps the Controller Outside the Fixture Envelope
In automated line fixtures, the controller body cannot enter the work envelope — robotic arms, conveyor tooling, and clamping mechanisms occupy the space around the assembly. The Long Guide's 118 mm length provides enough clearance to mount the controller on the fixture frame while the guide tip is positioned at the cure point inside the fixture. This is the configuration that enables full automation integration: controller on the frame, tip on the part, RS-232 trigger from the line controller.

Up to 4 Long Guides run simultaneously from one L9000™ controller — cure four deep-reach positions in one trigger cycle.

The Long Guide maintains equivalent irradiance vs the Short Guide at all measured focal distances — extended fibre optic length introduces no additional intensity reduction beyond normal propagation losses. Spot diameter is determined by the lightguide tip selection at order. Controller LED life rated at 15,000 operating hours; no recalibration required.
