L9000-SG Short Guide — 66 mm UV Lightguide
Incure L9000-SG Short Guide is the L9000™ lightguide with no moving parts — a straight 66 mm fibre optic guide with a cylindrical tip that fits any standard spot-cure fixture without adaptation. Where the Cool Guide adds a fan for thermally sensitive assemblies and the Long Guide adds reach for deep automated fixtures, the Short Guide removes everything that isn't needed for bench-top and semi-automated curing: no fan, no cube head, no coil. Delivers the same 7,500 mW/cm² output as the Cool Guide and Long Guide when paired with the L9000™ controller, with lower guide complexity.
No Moving Parts — Nothing to Service or Replace at the Guide
The Short Guide contains no fan, no moving components, and no additional electromechanical assemblies at the guide tip. The Cool Guide's integrated fan is the right choice when active tip cooling is required; where it isn't, the fan becomes the only component with a rated service interval. The Short Guide eliminates that interval entirely — guide maintenance is limited to periodic fibre optic inspection and tip cleaning, the same as any passive lightguide in the L9000™ range.
Fits Any Standard Spot-Cure Fixture Without Adaptation
The straight cylindrical tip is the universal form factor for UV spot curing fixtures. Fixturing departments design guide locating features around cylindrical tips — the Short Guide drops in without an adapter, a custom cradle, or a clearance accommodation that a cube-head guide requires. For labs and production lines already running standard spot-cure fixtures and transitioning to LED, the Short Guide is the direct swap to L9000™ intensity without fixture rework.
Same 7,500 mW/cm² Output as the Cool Guide — Simpler Configuration
The Short Guide delivers the same peak irradiance as the Cool Guide at every focal distance — 7,500 mW/cm² at 9 mm, 5,000 mW/cm² at 10 mm, 2,300 mW/cm² at 17 mm — without the fan. No intensity penalty for choosing the simpler guide. Spot diameters 3–12 mm (6 options). Wavelength factory-configured at order (365 / 375 / 385 / 395 / 405 nm); intensity 10–100% adjustable via the L9000™ controller.
